We have found that learning Yang Style Tai Chi is ideally understood in 2 semesters of 12-week training modules (i.e. a total of 24 weeks). While the ideal learning pace for Chen Style Tai Chi is in 3 semesters (i.e. a total of 36 weeks). Workshops are therefore crash courses with the objective of covering the Yang Style Tai Chi form or Chen Style Tai Chi form in a much shorter time span.
Workshops are designed specifically for people who are unable to attend the regular training modules due to scheduling limitations and a shorter condensed training schedule makes a better fit.
Workshops are also ideal for those who have learned the form and many of the tai chi movements or techniques previously but want to renew, review and enhance their practice of the form. Workshops that are solely for those who have already learned the form will be called Refinement Workshops.
Our Workshops are typically offered only during the Summer semester or during breaks between regular sessions.
