What is the difference between Tai Chi and Qi Gong?
Tai Chi and Qi Gong are two very different disciplines. They appear similar because they involve slow movements and provide a host of health benefits. However, the intent of Tai Chi and Qi Gong are different. In a simple sentence, Tai Chi is a martial art while Qi Gong is a health exercise. Tai Chi trains you to move efficiently in balance, while Qi Gong helps you to stretch and strengthen gently. Both require being mindful of your movements. For a more indepth discussion, read the blog – A Comparison of Qi Gong versus Tai Chi.
All new students are welcome to try one free Tai Chi Basics class and one free Qi Gong class to experience the differences between them.
How much do you charge for classes?
Pricing is based on a 12-week school term. If you join in the middle of a term, the pass will rollover to the following term.
For beginners taking Tai Chi Basics and Qi Gong/Fitness, get the Tai Chi Basics and Qi Gong Unlimited package.
If taking only Tai Chi Basics, get the Tai Chi Basics Only package.
