A good tai chi or qi gong instructor can make a world of difference in your learning experience. Good teachers can help you understand, enjoy and appreciate the art in a way that is meaningful to you. Our goal is to groom and train good, qualified instructors, so they can help others enjoy and learn the beautiful art of tai chi and qi gong.
TAI CHI & QI GONG CANADA
Tai Chi & Qi Gong Canada has been established to train and certify quality Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructors. We have designed a graduated instructor certification program where you can progressively meet the requirements at each level, thereby achieving the skills and experience over a period of time. To get started, attend the free INFO SESSION held once a year.
INFO SESSION
This is a 1 hour session to learn about the Graduated Instructor Certification Program and the prerequisites for joining the program. The session is FREE and open to everyone.

Certified Qi Gong Instructor
Step 1: Enroll in Qi Gong classes and accumulate enough practice hours to meet the prerequisites.
Step 2: Make an appointment to take the Instructor course.
Step 3: Submit the video exam and written test for certification.

Certified Tai Chi Instructor
Step 1: Enroll and complete the Tai Chi Basics course – this is a required course.
Step 2: Enroll and complete the Tai Chi courses for the style you want to certify. (E.g. Yang Level 1 , 2 / Chen Level 1, 2, 3 / Wu Level 1, 2, 3)
Step 3: Enroll in Tai Chi Advance course for the specific style and accumulate enough training hours to meet the prerequisites.
Step 4: Make an appointment to take the Instructor course.
Step 5: Submit the video exam and written test for certification.
